About me…
I am an LCSW with over 20 years of experience working in mental health in NYC. I began my career at Bellevue Hospital, where I learned from some of the best in the field, and had the privilege of working with clients from all over the world. More recently, I have focused on working with young adults and adults with mood disorders, like anxiety, depression, as well as relationship issues and life transitions. I have a special interest and passion for working with women who are in the perinatal period, from trying to conceive, to pregnancy, post partum, and the fourth trimester. I have extensive training in the field and hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health.
My work is typically solutions-focused, in the here and now, while acknowledging the impact and influence of your past. I use an eclectic approach, leaning heavily on CBT, elements of DBT and ACT, grounded in psychodynamic principles.
If you are seeking a warm and non-judgmental space to examine your thoughts and feelings, I invite you to reach out to schedule a free phone consultation. I am confident that we can work together to strengthen your ability to cope with any ongoing stressors and maximize your functioning by learning new skills for emotional regulation.
